Semak Praises Player Efforts Despite Minor Errors in Winter Cup Match

The head coach of Saint Petersburg’s Zenit, **[Sergey Semak](https://www.example.com)**, shared his thoughts on his team’s performance during the Winline Winter Cup match against Dynamo Moscow, which ended in a 2-1 victory.

“The most important thing is that we aimed to play actively and high up the pitch, but at certain moments, we switched off, which is understandable at this stage. Overall, I have no major complaints about the players. They put in a lot of effort; at times, their performance was quite good, although there were also some mistakes, which is natural. It was a match against a strong team, contributing to our preparation for the resumption of the season,” Semak’s comments were reported on the official club website.

On Friday, February 6, the blue-white-blue squad will face off against Krasnodar.
