Three-time Grand Slam champion and world number one, Belarusian tennis player **[Arina Sobolenko](https://example.com/tags/26765-arina-sobolenko/)**, has reached the second round of the French Open for the seventh consecutive time. In the opening match, she defeated Russian player **Kamila Rahimova** (ranked 75th) with a score of 6-1, 6-0.

Only four players in this year’s tournament can achieve such a feat at Roland Garros: Iga Swiatek, Caroline Garcia, Daria Kasatkina, and Elise Mertens.

In the second round of the French Open, Sobolenko will compete against the winner of the match between Italian Lucrezia Stefanini and Swiss player Belinda Bencic.

The main draw of the women’s singles at Roland Garros 2025 is scheduled to take place from May 25 to June 7.
