Roman Rotenberg: Staying Connected with Former SKA Players in the NHL

The First Vice President of the Hockey Federation of Russia (FHR), head coach of the “Russia 25” team, and a board member of Moscow’s Dynamo, **[Roman Rotenberg](https://example.com)**, who previously led SKA, has stated that he is in contact with former players from the army club now in the NHL.

“Of course, I’m in touch with all the guys I’ve worked with. We’re like one family. The players call me anytime; we consult and discuss the best course of action. We’ve spent so much time together that we’ve become one big hockey family. I’m always ready to assist with any issues.

If needed, I can also learn something from them. For example, they might share a specific exercise with me. They keep me informed about the coaches they are working with and how they are progressing,” Rotenberg told Soviet Sport.

After the last season ended, four SKA players moved to North America: Ivan Demidov, Arseniy Gritsyuk, Alexander Nikishin, and Zakhar Bardakov.
