Reid Bushey Changes Jersey Number in Honor of His Son at Avtomobilist

The newcomer of “Avtomobilist,” Reid Bushe, has changed his jersey number. Previously, the American forward wore number 86 while playing for “Avangard” and wore number 48 with “Lokomotiv.” Bushe shared that he has chosen to wear number 16 in the Yekaterinburg club in honor of his son.

“The number 86 was already taken. My son wears number 16 when he plays baseball. I thought it would be nice to wear this number for him. I hope it brings good luck,” Bushe is quoted by the club’s press service.

In the last season, Bushe recorded 49 points in 52 regular-season games, scoring 28 goals and providing 21 assists. In the playoffs, the American forward earned 8 points (5 goals and 3 assists) in 13 games.
