Authorities have reported the arrest of four men in their 20s on allegations of conspiracy to commit murder as part of their investigation into the death of Kyrone Moodie.

Twenty-seven-year-old Moodie succumbed to his injuries in a hospital following a shooting that occurred in south London around 20:50 BST on September 8.

The men, aged 25, 26, 27, and 28, were taken into custody on Wednesday and are currently being held by the police.

Emergency responders provided assistance to Mr. Moodie at the location of the shooting on New Park Road in Clapham, but he passed away the following day.

Additionally, a 20-year-old individual sustained injuries but has since been discharged from the hospital.

Detective Chief Inspector Sarah Lee, who is overseeing the Metropolitan Police investigation, stated, “These arrests represent a crucial development as my team continues to investigate Kyrone’s murder.

“We are diligently working to uncover the circumstances surrounding this tragic event. Kyrone’s family is also receiving support from specialized officers.

“I understand that the community is understandably concerned about this incident, and residents can anticipate an ongoing police presence in the area over the next few days.”

In a statement released via the police, Mr. Moodie’s family described him as “genuine and determined.”

“He extended help to anyone in need. Kyrone was simply a humble, humorous, and God-fearing man who cherished family,” they expressed.
