The 38-year-old German Formula 1 driver, **Nico Hülkenberg**, representing the “Kik-Sauber” team, has gifted a cane to the 44-year-old Spanish pilot and two-time series champion, **Fernando Alonso**, from the Aston Martin team.

The quirky and humorous gift exchange took place during the media day of the final event of the 2025 season at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, as part of the “Secret Santa” tradition that Formula 1 drivers have participated in for the past few years ahead of Christmas.

After 23 races in the current season, Hülkenberg has accumulated 49 points, placing him 11th in the drivers’ standings. Alonso is 12th with 48 points. The “Kik-Sauber” team is sitting in 9th place in the Constructors’ Championship with 68 points, while Aston Martin holds the 7th position with 80 points.
