The president of the Continental Hockey League, **Alexey Morozov**, commented on the potential return of “Vityaz” to the league. Earlier, on June 27, “Vityaz” was excluded from the KHL membership for the seasons 2025/2026 to 2029/2030 by a decision from the league’s board of directors.

“Anything is possible; we will have discussions. First, let sponsors step forward and ‘Vityaz’ show their desire, and we will carefully work out where they will be based, so that we can avoid situations like the one we faced this summer in the future,” Morozov’s words were reported by Championship correspondent Rustam Imamov.

After “Vityaz” was excluded, there were changes in the conference lineups: the Togliatti team “Lada” was moved to the Western Conference.
