MMA Fighters Guide: Why Habits, Not Diets, Are Key to Fitness

Renowned Russian mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Murad Machaev shared insights on achieving the desired physical condition. According to the athlete, the focus should be on habits rather than diets.

“Diets are ineffective. It’s the habits that count. You might lose five kg in two weeks, but then gain seven kg back. That’s a familiar story. This happens because you change your diet but not your mindset. Eat in a way that you can sustain long-term,” Machaev stated on his social media.

Overall, Machaev has competed in 25 MMA bouts, achieving 22 victories and suffering three losses.
