Faïza Lamari, mother of French striker Kylian Mbappé, revealed an intriguing detail about his transfer from Paris Saint-Germain to Real Madrid. According to her, Kylian realized that in the 2024/2025 season, he might achieve more with PSG than with Real Madrid. However, he decided to follow his long-held dream of playing for the “Royal Club.”

“When I found out that Kylian had made the decision to leave Paris, I told him that PSG was now closer to winning the Champions League than Real Madrid. He childishly and excitedly replied, ‘Yes, I know, but it doesn’t matter. I’m starting everything from scratch.’ It was then that I saw the Kylian who used to dream about a career at Real in his room again,” Faïza was quoted by Madrid Xtra, referencing L’Equipe.
