Former CSKA player Maxim Bokov shared his thoughts on the performance of the Moscow club in the current season of the Russian Premier League.

“CSKA’s play is yielding results. The team is well-balanced, which establishes a positive foundation. I have mentioned before that in terms of player selection, CSKA is among the top teams in the RPL. The team demonstrates this on the field. However, there’s still a long way to go in the championship. We shouldn’t make any predictions. Yes, they lost to Lokomotiv, but they will recover and earn points,” Bokov stated in an interview with Championship correspondent Maria Kutsubeyeva.

After 13 rounds, CSKA is in third place in the Russian league standings with 27 points. Leading the table is Krasnodar with 29 points, while Lokomotiv sits in second place with the same point total as CSKA but a better goal difference.
