Mats Zuccarello of Minnesota Wild Out for Two Months Due to Injury

Forward for the Minnesota Wild, Mats Zuccarello, will be sidelined for seven to eight weeks due to a lower-body injury, according to the team’s press release.

Last season, the 38-year-old Norwegian athlete participated in 69 games during the NHL regular season and recorded 54 points, scoring 19 goals and providing 35 assists. In the playoffs, the veteran played six games, during which he scored one goal and made two assists.

In total, Zuccarello has played 904 games in the NHL, accumulating 690 points with 217 goals and 473 assists. In playoff appearances, he has tallied 58 points (19 goals and 39 assists) over 102 matches.
