The goalkeeping coach of the Russian national football team, **Vitaly Kafanov**, shared his thoughts on the goalkeeper from the club “Bodø/Glimt,” **Nikita Haikin**. During a recent UEFA Europa League group stage match, the Norwegian team drew with English side Tottenham (2:2).
“We spoke with Haikin after his match against Tottenham. He is developing alongside the club and playing exceptionally well—I’m genuinely happy for him. It’s fair to say that he is already at a European level. As for Israel, that’s not an option at this point. The process of obtaining Norwegian citizenship is quite complicated and will take some time; I want to reiterate that Israel is not a consideration,” Kafanov’s comments were relayed by Championship correspondent Alexander Yershov.
