“I can’t even begin to imagine what the video from my first game looks like compared to how I look now after 1,000 games. It’s fascinating because I’ve been part of this journey and have seen players reach their own milestones of 1,000 games or points. You just sit back and marvel at what it took for each player to get to this point. You never think about being in this position when you first get hired; you don’t sit there wondering, ‘I wonder what my 1,000th game will be like.’ Instead, you’re thinking, ‘I just hope I can secure another contract’ (laughs),” Cooper shared, as reported by the official NHL website.
