Islanders Forward Barzal Suspended for Game Against Carolina Due to Late Arrival to Practice

Forward for the New York Islanders, **Mathew Barzal**, will miss the upcoming game against the Carolina Hurricanes due to being late for practice. Head coach of the Islanders, **Patrick Roy**, made the decision to hold him out of the match.

“This is part of our team’s culture. We decided not to play him today. Barzi is not happy about it; he’s not thrilled with the decision, but he respects it and understands our reasoning,” Roy told Daily Faceoff.

It is noted that Mathew Barzal will be eligible to return for the game against the Washington Capitals on November 1.

So far this season, Barzal has scored two goals and provided six assists in nine games.
