Police issued a fine to 68-year-old actor Daniel Stern for soliciting prostitution, as reported by TMZ at the beginning of the year.

Stern, who is best known for his role as the burglar Marv in “Home Alone” and “Home Alone 2,” attempted to call a prostitute to his hotel room in California. Initially, the police detained the actor, but eventually, they decided to impose just a fine.

Despite his advanced age, Stern continues to act. After the success of the Christmas-themed film series, he has appeared in numerous movies and TV shows, with his latest notable performances in “Manhattan,” “The House of Lies,” and “For All Mankind.”
