According to the Metropolitan Police, a man has been accused of raping a woman in central London.

A 19-year-old woman contacted the police around 3:30 AM BST on Thursday to report that she had been assaulted on Euston Road in Camden.

Police officers quickly arrived at the scene, located close to a hospital, and established a crime scene.

Hassan Sarout, a 21-year-old without a permanent address, was apprehended on Friday and subsequently charged with rape on Saturday. He is scheduled to appear in Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Monday, as stated by the Met Police.
