Over a year after the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old boy in west London, a man has been charged with murder and attempted murder.

Rene Graham lost his life in Emslie Horniman’s Pleasance Park in Ladbroke Grove on the night of July 21, 2024. Another individual was also targeted in the park but fortunately escaped without injury.

Abderahman Boumzough, 25, who does not have a permanent residence, was taken into custody on Tuesday and formally charged with both crimes on Wednesday, according to the Metropolitan Police. He is expected to appear at Highbury Magistrates’ Court soon.

The police stated that their investigation is ongoing, and a reward of £20,000 from Crimestoppers for information leading to a conviction still stands.
