Fighter from the “Archangel Michael” club, **Ilyas Hamzin**, shared his thoughts on the upcoming match between UFC lightweight champion **Islam Makhachev** and Australian fighter **Jack Della Maddalena**.

“Based on Della Maddalena’s recent performances, he seems to be quite comfortable with grappling and has solid defensive skills. It will be intriguing to see Islam’s striking power in this weight class. I believe Makhachev will impose his game plan. He will grapple and strike. I think he will win by decision,” Hamzin stated in an interview with Championship correspondent Alexander Frolov.

Islam Makhachev has held the UFC lightweight championship belt since October 2022, when he defeated Charles Oliveira. He boasts a record of 17 wins and one loss. Jack Della Maddalena competes in the welterweight division and has 18 wins and two losses in the UFC.
