Golf on a Day Off: Alcaraz Shares His US Open Relaxation Plans

Five-time Grand Slam champion and the second-ranked player in the world, Spanish tennis player **Carlos Alcaraz**, revealed that he plans to play golf on his day off during the **2025 US Open**. This has been a long-standing hobby of his. He also spent his day off at Wimbledon playing golf.

“I’m definitely going to play golf. If something works well, why change it? I try to play golf every time I have a day off. Tomorrow, I have a tough match scheduled against Sergio Garcia. I will definitely play. He’ll have to give me a 10 to 15-shot handicap because I’m not as good a player as he is,” Alcaraz told Tennis365.

As a reminder, in the semifinals of the 2025 US Open, the Spaniard will compete against the world’s seventh-ranked player, Serbian Novak Djokovic.
