On **July 18**, the world premiere of the film “I Know What You Did Last Summer” took place, marking a sequel to the iconic horror series that disregards all entries in the franchise except for the first two films. The new installment is available for viewing in cinemas across most countries, although it has not been officially released in Russia.

The plot centers around five friends who inadvertently cause a car accident that results in a fatality. They decide to cover up their crime, but a year later, they find themselves being hunted down one by one by a maniac wielding a hook. To survive, the friends must turn to the survivors from the horrific events of 1997.

The leading roles feature Jennifer Love Hewitt (“Heartbreakers”), Freddie Prinze Jr. (“Scooby-Doo”), Chase Sui Wonders (“Film School”), and Madelyn Cline (“Outer Banks”). The film is directed by Jenn Robinson (“Kill Me If You Can”).
