“It’s a shame… It’s practically a home club for me. At least I remain the top scorer for ‘Khimki’ in the Russian Cup… Sigh…” Genich wrote on his Telegram channel.
On May 24, the Russian Football Union officially denied the Moscow region club’s application for a license to compete in the upcoming season of the Premier League.
