The second-ranked player in the world, American **[Coco Gauff](https://www.example.com/tags/28843-kori-gauff/)**, has become the fourth youngest tennis player in the history of the Open Era to reach five or more consecutive quarterfinals in women’s singles at the French Open. She achieved this milestone at the age of 21 years and 73 days, winning her fourth-round match at the 2025 French Open against Russian player **Ekaterina Alexandrova** with a score of 6-0, 7-5.

According to Opta Ace, only three players younger than Gauff have accomplished this feat. They include 1994 Wimbledon champion Conchita Martínez from Spain, five-time Grand Slam champion Martina Hingis from Switzerland, and 22-time Grand Slam champion Steffi Graf from Germany.

In the quarterfinals of the 2025 French Open, Coco Gauff will face the winner of the match between fellow Americans Madison Keys and Hailey Baptiste.
