GARAGE FEST Igora Drive 2025: A Family Celebration of Cars, Music, and Thrills with Big Russian Boss and Garik Sukachev

On July 26 and 27, the “Igora Drive” racetrack in the Leningrad region will host a large-scale family festival that will combine cars, music, speed, and excitement.

The festival’s competitive segment will once again feature both circuit racing and drifting. On Saturday, July 26, there will be the REC Igora Drive 4-hour endurance race along with qualifying rounds for the 5th stage of the RDS Open. On Sunday, July 27, eliminations for the RDS Open will take place, as well as a stage of the Porsche Club Challenge.

The endurance race is expected to attract around forty teams driving sport prototypes, GT-class vehicles, and saloon cars. Spectators will have the opportunity to witness intense competition, numerous pit stops, tactical maneuvers, and overtaking during the four-hour event.

The RDS Open stage will take place at the “concrete coliseum”—a unique venue surrounded on all sides by barriers, which has gained a legendary status. Racing close to the walls provides drivers with thrilling experiences, while the cost of a mistake could be a crash. The RDS Open stage as part of GARAGE FEST Igora Drive 2025 will serve as a genuine test for drift racers.

The Porsche Club Challenge is a championship specifically for owners of German cars. This stage will feature two races lasting 20 and 30 minutes, respectively, with the second race starting in reverse order for the top five positions. The GARAGE FEST Igora Drive 2025 will also include the Porsche Club Cup, a time-attack competition.

A notable participant in the RDS Open will be showman Big Russian Boss, who has already performed this year at the “concrete coliseum” during one of the stages of the Igora Drive Drift Challenge. The project “Media Drift” will cover all the ups and downs of his journey into drifting, with filming taking place during the RDS Open at GARAGE FEST Igora Drive 2025.

The concert program, which wraps up each day of the festival, will be even richer and more varied in 2025. Featuring diverse styles and generations of musicians, attendees can expect an energetic outdoor concert filled with positive vibes.

On July 26, the concert will kick off with the young artist Xolidayboy, who will energize the crowd with dynamic and emotional songs. Following him will be the dramatic soprano Ani Lorak, known for her four-and-a-half-octave vocal range. Her charisma and heartfelt performance will create a special atmosphere to conclude the festival’s first day.

The GARAGE FEST Igora Drive 2025 concert program will focus on rock music on July 27, starting with the band “Three Rainy Days,” representing a new generation of Russian rock. The evening’s highlight will be a live performance by the legendary rock musician Garik Sukachyov.

Over the course of two days, there will be a classic car exhibition hosted by the “Car Culture” project, which will feature lectures dedicated to motorsport. Former and current racers, racing car collectors, bloggers, and journalists will share their perspectives on the history and present of motorsport, discuss their racing experiences, and introduce attendees to some of the most significant racing cars in history. The exhibition will boast around two hundred vehicles, showcasing not only racing machinery but also road sports cars and rare models. A special guest at GARAGE FEST Igora Drive 2025 will be Stas Asafyev, a YouTube blogger, founder of “Autopragmat,” and the driving school “Ratata.” He will conduct two meet-and-greet sessions on Saturday, July 26, discussing road safety, his school, and sharing personal insights.

Additionally, during both festival days, a “Ratata” zone for advanced driving training will be available at the Center for Counter-Collision Training. From 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, anyone can compete on a course marked by cones. The participant with the best time will receive a souvenir from Stas Asafyev.

GARAGE FEST Igora Drive 2025 will also serve as the arena for the “Formula Student” engineering competition, where representatives from leading technical universities will showcase race cars built by students and participate in various testing runs. This year, fifteen teams are competing in “Formula Student,” with twelve of them racing in the CV class for internal combustion engine vehicles. Seven teams hail from Russia, while four come from abroad, including a Russian-Chinese team, and three Russian teams are competing in the electric vehicle category.

The most powerful, fast, and loud race cars in the country will be showcased in a dedicated RDRC exhibition for the championship and Cup of Russia in drag racing. Visitors to GARAGE FEST Igora Drive 2025 will have the chance to examine dragsters and pro mods with up to 4,500 horsepower closely, and several cars will participate in exhibition runs along the main straight of the racetrack. For the first time in the festival’s history, attendees will witness a simultaneous pair run of two dragsters, each boasting over 2,000 horsepower.

A wealth of themed areas from festival partners, a wide and diverse food court, guided tours, and various entertainment options will ensure a comfortable experience for the whole family at the festival.
