Liam and Noel Gallagher reunited on stage for the first time in 16 years at a working men’s club in north London, as reported by various sources.
The brothers were seen arriving at the Mildmay club in Newington Green, north London, on Thursday, where they are thought to have filmed a promotional video for the sold-out Oasis reunion tour scheduled for this summer.
As reported by The Sun, they entered the venue separately, spent about an hour inside, and made such a commotion that it annoyed the local residents.
The highly anticipated ‘25 tour is set to kick off in Cardiff on July 4, marking 16 years since the band infamously split following a backstage altercation at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris, and coinciding with the 30th anniversary of their iconic second album, (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?.
In a statement following the tour’s announcement, the band declared, “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”
It appears that the brothers have mended their relationship, with Noel recently telling TalkSport that rehearsals for the tour will commence in the coming weeks. When asked about Liam’s well-being, he responded, “He’s doing well. He’s in great shape. I was with him just yesterday.”
The UK segment of the tour will feature seven performances at Wembley Stadium in London, plus five shows in the Gallagher brothers’ hometown of Manchester. Following that, the tour will move to the US, Mexico, Japan, South Korea, and Australia, concluding in South America in November.
Earlier this week, the tour was in the spotlight when Lloyds Banking Group revealed that concert-goers have lost over £2 million to scams since tickets went on sale in August 2024.
The Competition and Markets Authority had previously indicated that Ticketmaster might have “violated” consumer protection laws in how it handled the sale of more than 900,000 tickets, with some fans reportedly paying upwards of £350 for tickets originally priced at £150.
The band has dismissed any criticism regarding ticket pricing, stating last year: “Undeniably, the demand for this tour is so intense that it’s impossible to schedule enough performances to meet it.
“In relation to the widely reported grievances about Ticketmaster’s dynamic ticketing approach: it should be clarified that Oasis entrusts all ticketing and pricing decisions to their promoters and management, and at no point were we aware that dynamic pricing would be utilized.”
In response to a fan on X who expressed disappointment about perceived overcharging, Liam curtly retorted: “SHUTUP.”
