First Look at The Witcher 4: Ciri and Stunning Winter Landscapes Unveiled

The studio CD Projekt RED has unveiled four screenshots from “The Witcher 4,” their upcoming game. The company notes that these images are from a technical demonstration presented during the State of Unreal event, which means they may differ in appearance in the final version of the project.

The initial screenshots allow us to appreciate the level of graphical detail on the main character Ciri, her horse, and the northern landscapes, featuring snowy mountains and numerous NPCs in a single environment. CD Projekt emphasizes that the current prototype of “The Witcher 4” runs at 60 frames per second on PS5.

Full-scale development of “The Witcher 4” commenced at the end of 2024 following several years of pre-production. The game is being developed using Unreal Engine 4, with a release expected no earlier than late 2026 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series.
