Juan Carlos Ferrero, the coach of Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz, shared his thoughts on the potential of his student following a remarkable comeback victory in the final match of the 2025 French Open against the world number one, Italian Jannik Sinner, with a score of 4-6, 6-7 (4-7), 6-4, 7-6 (7-3), 7-6 (10-2).
“He possesses extraordinary potential that continues to emerge as he matures. Carlos has taken another step toward becoming stronger mentally, aided by his growing self-belief during challenging moments or losses. This will lead him to significant achievements,” Ferrero stated, as reported by Mundo Deportivo.
Alcaraz has now become a five-time Grand Slam champion. He previously claimed titles at the French Open (2024), Wimbledon (2023, 2024), and the US Open (2022).
