Feeling at Home: Egor Dyomin Embraces Support from Russia During NBA Match

Russian point guard for the Brooklyn Nets, Egor Dyomin, expressed his appreciation for the support he receives from his homeland. Recently, the president of Krasnodar’s Lokomotiv-Kuban, Andrei Vedishchev, attended one of his NBA regular-season games.

“It has become a wonderful tradition for me to welcome guests from Russia at my games. During the match in Los Angeles, I had some very special visitors. The Vedishchev family and I share a lot of connections.

My father and Andrei Vladimirovich played together at the beginning of their careers, my brother started his basketball journey on the same team as their eldest son, Zakhar. I have also kept in touch with their middle son, Misha, and our mothers have been friends for a long time.

It’s really important to me to feel that support from Russia, and when familiar faces come to my games, it feels like a piece of home is nearby,” Dyomin wrote on his Telegram channel.
