The roster of “Fakel” has been enhanced by the addition of two new players. According to the team’s press service via their official Telegram channel, goalkeeper **Igor Obukhov** and forward **Georgy Gongadze** have joined the Voronezh club. Both players have signed long-term contracts.

In the 2024/2025 season, Igor Obukhov played for the Podmoskovie club “Khimki”, where he appeared in 12 matches of the Russian Premier League and the Fonbet Cup, conceding 26 goals. Meanwhile, Georgy Gongadze spent last season with “SKA-Khabarovsk” in the Melbet First League, scoring 12 goals and providing two assists in 34 appearances.

“Fakel” finished at the bottom of the RPL in the last season with 18 points over 30 rounds. The upcoming season will see the Voronezh team competing in the First League.
