ESPN analyst and expert **Kevin Pelton** accurately predicted the selection of Russian player **Yegor Dyomin** in the 2025 NBA Draft. In his article dated June 20, Pelton expressed the view that Dyomin would be picked with the eighth overall choice, which turned out to be correct as the **Brooklyn Nets** chose the Russian athlete.
Notably, **John Hollinger** from The Athletic was also close in his prediction, estimating that Yegor would be selected ninth.
Dyomin has now become the fourth Russian player in the history of the **Brooklyn Nets**. Previously, the team featured Sergey Karasev, Andrei Kirilenko, and Timofey Mozgov. During the last NCAA season, where Yegor played, he averaged 10.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 1.2 steals per game.
