CSKA Moscow player Kirill Glebov shared insights on the changes implemented by the new head coach of the army team, Fabio Celestini. As a reminder, Celestini took over the coaching duties for the red-and-blues this summer, succeeding Marko Nikolic.
— You mentioned that the rules under Celestini have generally become stricter. What exactly has changed?
— Initially, Fabio was getting to know everyone, observing and was quite reserved and focused on his work. Now, things are more relaxed. One new rule is that the entire team must attend meals together. For example, lunch is scheduled for 4:30 PM. Under Marko, some players would come at 4:20 PM, while others would arrive at 4:40 PM. Now, everyone is expected to show up at the designated time. Until the whole team is present, the others wait, — Glebov’s words are quoted by Sport24.
It is worth noting that FC Krasnodar is currently leading the RPL standings, followed by CSKA in second place, with Kaliningrad’s Baltika rounding out the top three. The reigning champions of Russia are FC Krasnodar.
