Chebykin Signs One-Year Contract Extension with Severstal

Forward Nikolai Chebykin has extended his contract with Severstal for another season. This was reported by the hockey agency Winners Hockey Agency on their Telegram channel.

During the recent KHL regular season, the 27-year-old player appeared in 35 games, recording a total of 22 points (12 goals and 10 assists) for the Cherepovets club. Chebykin joined Severstal from Sochi in December 2024. Throughout his career in the KHL, he has played 245 games and amassed 96 points (46 goals and 50 assists).

It is important to note that Severstal concluded this season with a loss in the first round of the playoffs against Spartak, finishing the series 1-4.

Additionally, it was previously reported that Severstal has extended the contract of defenseman Vladimir Grudin until the end of the 2026/2027 season.
