Amateurism in Action: Automobilist Declines to Challenge SKA Match Outcome

The press service of “Avtomobilist” announced that the team will not file a protest regarding the match against SKA (1:2). It is worth noting that the puck, after a shot from Andrey Pedan, did not cross the goal line and instead entered the net through a hole.

“According to section 1.3 of article 77 of the KHL Sports Regulations, the club does not have the legal right to file a protest,” the club’s press service informed Championship correspondent Rodion Vlasov.

As stated in section 1.3 of article 77, the KHL competition department does not accept and disregards protests based on complaints about the quality of officiating, including those based on errors in refereeing related to the determination of goals.
