The showrunners of “Stranger Things,” Matt and Ross Duffer, recently shared insights about the script development for the upcoming final season. The creators revealed that they contemplated the possibility of a perfectly happy ending for Eleven, played by Millie Bobby Brown.

According to the Duffers, they seriously considered a plot where Eleven achieves an ideal future, completely free from past threats and pursuits.

The fifth and final season of “Stranger Things” concluded with the release of its last episode on January 1. This episode, which ran for over two hours, marked the end of the residents of Hawkins’ battle against the Upside Down.
