Allegations of Stalking: Man Pleads Not Guilty to Breaching Restraining Order Against James Bond Producer

A man has pleaded not guilty to 11 charges of violating a restraining order by reaching out to former James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli.

Daniel Wilson, 36, was prohibited from contacting Ms. Broccoli following a ruling from Isleworth Crown Court in 2017.

It is claimed that Mr. Wilson breached this order by attempting to contact Ms. Broccoli “without reasonable justification” on 11 occasions between April 2022 and April of last year.

Residing on Mostyn Road in Lambeth, Mr. Wilson appeared for his court proceedings via video link and denied all allegations at Southwark Crown Court.

Ms. Broccoli began her association with the James Bond series at the age of 17, eventually rising to the role of producer shortly before the passing of her father, Albert “Cubby” Broccoli.

In February, it was announced that Amazon MGM Studios would assume creative control of the franchise.

Conditions of bail established during a prior hearing will remain in effect, including Mr. Wilson’s restriction from using devices that access the internet and his requirement to sleep in a location designated by the NHS.

The trial has been scheduled for July 2027, which the judge indicated was “the earliest available date.”

The Broccoli family has overseen the 007 film series since the release of Dr. No in 1962, either individually or in collaboration with others.
