The bronze medalist of the 2025 Russian Championship in singles figure skating, **[Alina Gorbachyova](https://t.me/alinagorbachevarus/671)**, has announced that she will not participate in the 2026 Russian Championship in St. Petersburg due to an injury.

“First of all, I want to express my gratitude to everyone for your support and concern; thank you for waiting and worrying about me. It truly saddens me to have to miss the 2026 Championship due to my injury. I’m very upset because I was looking forward to competing at this event and did everything I could to prepare, but fate had other plans,” Gorbachyova shared on her [Telegram channel](https://t.me/alinagorbachevarus/671).

The 2026 Russian Championship is scheduled to take place from December 18 to 21 in St. Petersburg. Previously, the list of tournament participants was released.
