Tragic Accident Claims Life of Oasis Fan at Wembley Concert

A pre-inquest review has described the death of an Oasis fan, who fell from a height during a concert at Wembley Stadium, as a “tragic accident.”

Lee Claydon, 45, from Bournemouth, and affectionately known as Clive by his family, fell from an upper section after the performance concluded on August 2.

At Barnet Coroner’s Court, Detective Sergeant James Raffin of the Metropolitan Police stated that the investigation is no longer considered a criminal matter.

“We have no reason to believe any third party was involved,” he remarked. “Based on all the evidence we have gathered, this appears to have been a tragic accident.”
