Former world number 20 and now coach, **Dmitry Tursunov**, shared his thoughts on the defeat of the 2021 US Open champion and current world number 18, Russian tennis player **Daniil Medvedev**, at the Shanghai Masters. In the semifinal match, Medvedev lost to Frenchman **Arthur Rinderknech** with a score of 6-4, 2-6, 4-6.

“Emotions got the better of Daniil since he wasn’t entirely sure how to react. I believe Rinderknech made the right move by serving a lot of slice shots, approaching the net, and keeping Daniil moving around the court.
