Four-time Grand Slam champion and world number one Belarusian tennis player Arina Sabalenka expressed her thoughts on how she managed to achieve 20 consecutive wins in her initial matches at the WTA 1000 tournament in Wuhan. In the quarterfinals, she defeated Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina with a score of 6:3, 6:3.

– You have never lost here. You’ve won the tournament three times. How do you explain this remarkable achievement?
– I believe I have a unique bond with the Chinese fans. Every time I play here, I feel at home. Honestly, it’s just incredible, – Sabalenka stated in a post-match interview on the court.

To secure a place in the final of the Wuhan WTA 1000 event, Arina Sabalenka will compete against American player Jessica Pegula.
