Navigating Winds of Change: Antonelli Reflects on Qualifying Challenges in Baku

Italian Formula 1 driver **[Andrea Kimi Antonelli](https://www.racingnews365.com)** from the Mercedes team shared his thoughts on qualifying fourth for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

“After successful practice sessions where I continued to find my speed, I felt well-prepared for qualifying. However, the conditions were quite challenging due to the wind. It felt like a lottery, as the gusts were very unpredictable. So, while I am pleased with the result, I’m also disappointed with my final lap. The wind hit me unexpectedly, costing me around 0.2 to 0.3 seconds.

In the third segment, it was tough for everyone; some had better luck with the wind than others. Nevertheless, I can’t complain, and we’ll do everything we can in the race,” Antonelli expressed, as reported by Racingnews365.
