Russian airstrikes in Ukraine resulted in the deaths of two individuals and injuries to at least 18 others, including a four-year-old girl, according to Ukrainian officials early Tuesday morning.
Ivan Fedorov, the head of the military administration in the Zaporizhzhia region of southeastern Ukraine, reported that one person was killed and nine others were injured in a specific Russian assault. The tally of injured individuals from that incident later increased to 18.
Additionally, the governor of Mykolaiv region in southern Ukraine, Vitaliy Kim, stated that Russian forces targeted a farm, leading to the death of a tractor driver while he was working in the fields.
“This was a deliberate assault on civilians,” Kim noted on Telegram.
Meanwhile, Ukraine’s air force announced that it successfully intercepted 89 Russian drones throughout the country overnight.
