Arson Attack at East London Restaurant Leaves Three Critically Injured; Two Suspects in Custody

A young male adolescent and an adult male have been detained following a suspected arson incident at a restaurant in east London that resulted in three individuals sustaining critical injuries.

On Friday evening, a fire broke out at the establishment located on Woodford Avenue in Gant’s Hill, leading to the hospitalization of three women and two men.

According to the Metropolitan Police, a 15-year-old boy and a 54-year-old man have been taken into custody on charges of arson with the intent to endanger life.

Furthermore, the police reported that two of the injured – a male and a female – are currently in a life-threatening condition in the hospital.
