The Hollywood Reporter recently had an interview with David Leitch, the director of the film “Stuntmen.” In the conversation, he expressed his desire to create a sequel to the action-comedy film.
Leitch revealed that he had discussed the sequel idea with the lead actor, Ryan Gosling. He emphasized that “Stuntmen” has garnered a significant fan base, and he dreams of making a follow-up.
“Stuntmen” premiered worldwide in May 2024. The story follows Colt Sivers, played by Ryan Gosling, a former stuntman who returns to the profession to work on the set of his ex-girlfriend Jodie, portrayed by Emily Blunt. Despite underperforming at the box office, with a total of $181 million against a budget of $130 million, the film received a favorable reception from both audiences and critics, earning an 82% approval rating from reviewers and 84% from viewers on Rotten Tomatoes.
