Kyrgios Pulls Out of US Open 2025 Due to Ongoing Injury Struggles

The Wimbledon 2022 finalist, Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios, has withdrawn from the 2025 US Open. He continues to experience discomfort due to an ongoing injury.

Kyrgios had previously pulled out of the Masters tournament in Cincinnati. It’s worth noting that the Australian did not compete during the clay season and also missed the grass-court segment of the year, opting out of Wimbledon and other events on that surface.

Today, August 21, the draw for the main tournament of the 2025 US Open will take place, where players will learn their opponents for both men’s and women’s singles events. The main tournament is scheduled to be held from August 24 to September 7. The reigning champions in singles are Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka.
