The 2021 US Open champion and world No. 9, Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev, reminisced about his childhood alongside the world No. 14 Andrey Rublev.

“When we were young, we were truly wild. We cried when things didn’t go our way. Those were genuine tears. We shouted. We were unhappy. Even then, we were very competitive,” Medvedev shared in the documentary film “Breaking Back.”

The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) released the documentary “Breaking Back,” which focuses on the world No. 14, Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev. The film features footage from Andrey’s childhood, highlighting his initial steps in tennis.
