Janjashia on Pjanic: A Name Doesnt Play Football – Even I Can Step on the Field

Former forward of Moscow’s Lokomotiv, **Zaza Janashia**, shared his thoughts on the potential departure of midfielder **Miralem Pjanic** from CSKA, whose contract with the club is set to last until June 30, 2025.

“CSKA won’t be significantly affected by Pjanic leaving. They have a strong squad. Sure, there might be some minor adjustments, but we will see how they turn out as the season progresses. Right now, a name alone doesn’t determine how well someone plays football. I could step onto the field, receive a pass or make one, but that doesn’t mean I can run effectively. I’d accept the ball even if I were woken up at three in the morning. I have a name too, but is it enough to play football? No,” Janashia stated during his conversation with Championship journalist Vladislav Kruglov.
