How Wearing Air Jordans Cut Short My College Career: Kenyon Martins Bold Choice

Former NBA player **Kenyon Martin** shared how he defied his agent’s wishes by wearing gear from **Michael Jordan’s** brand while playing for the University of Cincinnati in the NCAA.

“I had the Jordan logo on my chest. I received the gear, and I put it on. I brought this upon myself… They told me not to wear the sneakers since one of them had a hard toe, but I still wore them. I stepped onto the court for the first half… and that was the end of my college career,” Martin recounted on The OGs podcast.

It’s worth noting that Martin’s agent was against him wearing the brand’s apparel because he did so without any contract with the equipment supplier and was essentially doing it for free.
