Historic Shift: Euroleague Supercup Final to be Held Abroad for the First Time

On Tuesday, June 17, a meeting of the VTB United League Council took place in Moscow, attended by the tournament’s management, representatives from the participating clubs, and members of the federations from the countries involved. The Council members gathered ahead of the 2025/2026 season and announced that, for the first time in the league’s history, the Supercup final will be held abroad.

According to a press release, the Supercup final is scheduled for September 2025 in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia.

In 2024, the Supercup was held in Moscow, featuring six teams: CSKA, Crvena Zvezda, Lokomotiv Kuban, Zenit, Besiktas, and UNICS. The army team emerged as the champions.
