A man has been taken into custody in relation to three cases of sexual assault involving teenage girls who were inappropriately touched while walking in the vicinity of Clapham Common.
The incidents occurred on Wednesday, January 8, and Thursday, January 23. Authorities are encouraging any additional victims to reach out.
Detective Chief Inspector Amanda Prince of the Metropolitan Police characterized the occurrences in South London as “highly troubling and distressing,” commending the three young girls for reporting the incidents to law enforcement.
On Wednesday, she stated: “We arrested a 22-year-old man last evening, who is currently being held. I encourage anyone with further information or who may have experienced similar incidents to come forward.”
