British Airways (BA), the UK’s flag carrier, has the most significant offering with more than 48 million available seats operating short and long-haul flights. The most frequented route is from Heathrow to Edinburgh Airport with over 740,000 available seats in each direction and close to 8,500 annual flights – equating to around 23 daily flights between these two cities.

The second busiest international route from Heathrow is a flight heading to John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York with almost 1.4 million roundtrip seats offered by British Airways.
