**Juan Carlos Ferrero**, coach of tennis player **Carlos Alcaraz**, mentioned that during the fourth set of the 2025 Roland Garros final, with the score at 5:3 and 40-0 in favor of Jannik Sinner, he did not believe in the possibility of a comeback from the Spaniard.
The match, which took place on Sunday in Paris, ended with a determined victory for Alcaraz, with scores of 6-4, 7-6 (7-4), 4-6, 6-7 (3-7), and 6-7 (2-10). Alcaraz was down two sets to none and fought off three match points in the fourth set.
“I can’t say I believed he could recover from 3:5, 0-40. But once again, with Carlos, anything is possible, and he did it again. It’s an incredible achievement,” Ferrero’s words were quoted by Portuguese journalist José Morgado on social media platform X.
In the final decisive set of the match between Sinner and Alcaraz, the Spaniard broke Sinner’s serve in the first game and served for the match at 5-4 in the 10th game. At that moment, Sinner broke back and took the set to a championship tiebreak, where he ultimately lost 2-10.
